About Jennifer
Brief Professional Bio
Dr. Jennifer McCary earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in art education/stone sculpture, a Master of Arts degree in college student personnel, a graduate certificate in instructional design, and a Doctorate in organization development and change, all from Bowling Green State University (BGSU). McCary serves on multiple local steering committees, serves as a Board of Trustee to an institution of higher education, and has held elected positions within her national professional organization. She is a three-time TEDx speaker, an exhibiting artist, received a 20 Under 40 award from the City of Toledo in 2019, and was named an Ohio Top Diversity Officer in 2021. McCary has made it her professional goal to help reduce violence and improve the climate as it relates to inclusion in as many spaces as possible.
